A BEAUTIFUL TEAL GLASS RECOLLECTION CAKE PEDESTAL MADE BY INDIANA GLASS.
This cake pedestal was made by Indiana Glass in the 1970's and was called Recollection.
Originally, this pattern was made by Federal Glass Company in the 1930's and was called the Madrid Pattern.
Indiana Glass bought the original molds from Federal Glass when it closed in 1978.
The cake pedestal measures 10 1/4" in diameter with a height of 2 3/4".

Indiana Glass Madrid Pattern History:
This pattern was reissued for the bicentennial in 1976 by the Federal Glass Company under the name Recollection Glassware. All the pieces from the "Recollection" are marked 1976. Later Indiana Glass bought the Madrid moulds from Federal Glass and made Crystal pieces without the 1976 mark. They also made it in pink, it was a lighter pink than the original depression era pink. They have also been made in blue (a brighter blue than the depression era Madonna blue and in teal.
