Exquisite French Limoges by the Haviland Co. as you can see from the pictures,the pristine white background, graceful scallops have gorgeous raised embossed designs accented with the dainty roses done in beautiful colors of pink to deep rose, accentuated with vividly colored brown trailing branches and blue gray leaves, the floral border. Early (1870's) multi-floral series pattern on blank 9.
Made in France by the Haviland family, with the green underglaze mark H&Co over L and the red overglaze decorator mark of "Haviland & Co. Limoges" dates this set from 1876 to 1889.
2 Chips on back otherwise beautiful. Nothing to mar the perfection on the front.
